Yellow Pea Exports From Canada Reveal Soft Month
PANAMA - Aug 5/20 - SNS -- At this point in the marketing year revealed a easier performance, with yellow pea exports for Canada fell compared to the previous month in June, according to data from Statistics Canada.
Movement reached 247,006 metric tons (MT) in the month, down 28% from the 340,909 MT shipped the previous month. Movement so far total 2,986,702 MT, versus 2,357,073 in the same period the last marketing year.
Recent movement statistics showed China was top buyer, buying 228,614 MT for the month. Bangladesh was the second most important importer receiving 11,301 MT, followed by Pakistan at 1,091 MT.
