Spain's Field Pea Imports Maintain Soft Tendency
PANAMA - Jul 17/20 - SNS -- Imports of field peas by Spain were well down, plunging relative to the previous month in May, trade data from Eurostat reports.
Total imports in the month amounted to 5,322 metric tons (MT), down 43% from the previous month's total of 9,384. So far imports have reached 21,181 MT, down from 22,497 during the previous calendar year.
Recent trade statistics revealed Ukraine was most important export origin, shipping 4,812 MT for the month. France was the second most important supplier shipping 360 MT, followed by Canada at 96 MT.
