Lithuania's Field Pea Exports Record Strong Result
PANAMA - Dec 17/19 - SNS -- Lithuania's export shipments of field peas during October jumped versus the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Movement totalled 5,828 metric tons (MT) during the month, up 21% from the 4,809 MT exported the previous month. Shipments so far total 160,427 MT, compared to 241,575 during the previous calendar year.
Norway was the top importer during the month, receiving 2,850 MT. Poland was the second most important destination receiving 1,434 MT, followed by Latvia at 699 MT.
