Improving Pace For French Pea Exports
PARIS - Dec 16/19 - SNS -- The pace of pea exports from France maintained their improved pace in October, according to data from Eurostat and Terres Univia.
Export shipments during the month totalled 25,749 metric tons (MT), up 19% the 22,200 MT shipped the previous month, and up 77% from the 14,860 MT shipped the same month last year.
This lifted season to date export shipments to 85,745 MT, up 27% from the 67,380 MT shipped during the same period last season. So far this marketing year, European Union destinations accounted for 96.2% of all pea exports, compared to 97.9% last season.
