Optimism Building Over Mexican Demand

PANAMA - Sep 6/19 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets maintained their quiet tone through the past week, though optimism about demand from Mexico appears to be rising.

This was reflected in inter-dealer markets in the United States, with the result its spot index for dry edible beans advanced 0.7 points on the week to close at 117.9.

The Canadian pulse price index was unchanged on the week, closing at 120.2, while the world pulse price index dropped 1.1 points on the week to close at 133.8.
