Weakness In North American Beans

PANAMA - Sep 29/17 - SNS -- North American processors and exporters adopted a more aggressive attitude toward sales during the past week, with this year's harvest advancing at a faster pace than last year.

This was reflected in the U.S. spot index for beans which lost another 1.6 points on the week to close at 128.4.

Other major pulse price indices finished the week on a mixed note. The Canadian pulse price index sank 4.5 points to finish at 156.8, while the world pulse price index lost 4.5 points to finish the week at 168.3.
