Pulse Markets Catch Breath

PANAMA - Mar 25/17 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets were generally unchanged on the week, while other pulse markets managed to post some gains, helped by fill in buying by exporters.

This was reflected in the performance of the pulse price indexes. The U.S. spot index for beans eased on the week, slipping 0.1 to 147.1 points.

By contrast, other pulse markets ended their recent down trend. The Canadian pulse price index rose 1.3 points to finish at 183.7, while the world pulse price index jumped 5.8 points to finish at 187.9.
