Little Change in Sugarbeet

WASHINGTON - Jun 30/16 - SNS -- Area planted to sugarbeets for the 2016 crop year is estimated at 1.17 million acres, up less than 1% from 2015, according to the USDA's seeded area estimates for 2016.

Harvested area is forecast at 1.15 million acres, up slightly from last year. Estimates began in 2016 for Washington.
