France Field Pea Sales Soar in February
PARIS - Apr 11/16 - SNS -- Field pea exports from France leaped upward in February, according to data compiled by Terres Univia.
Export shipments during the month totalled 52,270 metric tons (MT), up five times from the 10,005 MT shipped the previous month, and almost quintuple the 11,070 MT shipped the same month last year.
This helped lift season to date shipments above last season by a wider margin, jumping from 82,885 to 221,670 MT for the eight months spanning July through February.
