Field Pea Harvest Should Jump Forward
VANCOUVER - Sep 21/14 - SNS -- Field pea markets were unchanged to firmer during the past week against relatively steady export buying interest.
Canada's harvest was over three-quarters complete with many processors reporting that yellow pea deliveries so far this year have been good quality.
Weather forecasts for Saskatchewan call for another week of hot days, but warmer nights than last week. This should allow farmers to make excellent harvest progress, partly because the warmer nights may allow them to enter fields more quickly.
