Little Change in Field Pea Market
VANCOUVER - Sep 13/14 - SNS -- Canadian field pea markets finished the week largely unchanged on inter-dealer markets, reflecting the fact that harvest is further advanced than other pulses.
Canada's harvest is over two-thirds complete, allowing processors and exporters to focus on shipping against opening season sales.
This is reflected in the latest weekly data from the Canadian Grain Commission, which shows exports so far this season are more than double last year.
