United States Great Northern Beans Grower Price Review

VANCOUVER - Sep 5/13 - STAT -- United States Great Northern Beans markets finished the 2012-13 marketing year with prices offered to growers leaping 10% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.

The average price paid for Great Northern Beans was USD$42.04 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $38.34 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.

Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $45.00 per cwt in August, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $39.00 per cwt in November.
