VANCOUVER - Sep 5/13 - STAT -- United States Blackeye Bean markets finished the 2012-13 marketing year with prices offered to growers advancing 5% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Blackeye Bean was USD$52.46 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $49.88 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $54.00 per cwt in December, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $51.80 per cwt in September.
