United States Black Bean Grower Price Review

VANCOUVER - Sep 5/13 - STAT -- United States Black Bean markets finished the 2012-13 marketing year with prices offered to growers inching 1% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.

The average price paid for Black Bean was USD$37.44 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $37.68 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.

Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $42.00 per cwt in August, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $32.00 per cwt in October.
