Bullish Undertone in Edible Beans
VANCOUVER - Jun 22/13 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets finished the week on a bullish note in light trade against worries about supply fundamentals in white beans.
Argentina remains the focal point because of the failure of its white alubia bean crop.
Some exporters have negotiated one year delays in shipments. Others seem determined to simply cancel contracts because they cannot be fulfilled, even though the Argentine situation may not qualify as a force majeur situation under GAFTA.
