Argentine Woes Firm Beans

VANCOUVER - Apr 21/13 - SNS -- The world's dry edible bean markets maintained their firm tone through the past week, helped by reports from Argentina's delegation at this year's CICILS conference in Singapore.

This was reflected in the spot price index for U.S. beans, which was up three points on the week to finish at 1311.

The grower prices index for U.S. origin beans was unchanged on the week, closing at 1227.
