Steady Trading in Beans

VANCOUVER - Nov 10/12 - SNS -- The world's dry edible bean markets finished the week little changed under relatively steady trading activity.

Adding some support to inter-dealer markets in the United States, this activity allowed the spot price index for U.S. beans to lose only one point on the week to finish at 1307, while the grower bid index fell 19 points to finish at 1196.

Exporters in the United States reported modest, but ongoing buying interest from importers in the Pacific Rim, as well as demand from Algeria.
