Beans Manage to Hold Firm Tone

VANCOUVER - Jun 9/12 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets maintained their firm tone against worries about the quality of this year’s harvest in Argentina and the crop outlook in Mexico.

Any problems with the Argentine crop would add firmness to Brazilian markets, resulting in improved demand for beans from China and other origins.

There were continued reports of buying by Brazilian importers of both Chinese and Argentine origin black beans during the week.
