Nervousness in Edible Beans

VANCOUVER - May 25/12 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets finished the week's trading with limited activity, but with a relatively firm undertone.

Markets were helped by worries about wet weather, which is delaying harvest activity in Argentina.

Processors believe as much as 60% of the crop will still be in the fields the first part of June, a time when the risk of a frost event starts to rise quickly.
