Beans Relatively Quiet

VANCOUVER - Apr 21/12 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets were relatively quiet during the past week, with traders from many countries travelling to Dubai for this year's annual CICILS conference.

Dark red kidney bean markets in the United States eneded the week's trading on a strong note against news the USDA was seeking 2,900 metric tons (MT) for shipment as food aid from origin shipping points in June.

Markets showed nominal interest in the pending seeding intentions estimates for Canada, which will be released April 24.
