Beans Nervous Most of Week

VANCOUVER - Apr 13/12 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets finished the week's trading with a nervous undertone against worries about weather in some growing areas and potential oversupply in other areas.

Processors in Argentina maintained their defensive posture because a relatively large percentage of the white alubia bean crop was planted after the "best before" seeding date.

They have similar concerns over black beans, which has made it easier for them to lift asking prices to Brazil and other destinations.
