Edible Beans Unchanged to Easier

VANCOUVER - Nov 11/11 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets finished the week unchanged to easier in limited trading interest for origins with higher asking prices.

This is a clear reflection of the fact that price rationing is in effect, especially for North American origin product.

In its latest look at pulse markets in the United States, the USDA noted, "The higher prices have been met with some buyer resistance, resulting in little movement on the spot market. Most market participants are working on previous contracts and waiting for all of those beans to move before engaging in new sales."
