U.S. Bean Seeding Limps Forward

VANCOUVER- Jun 17/11 - SNS -- Seeding delays in the United States and more rainfall events in Montana and North Dakota added to fears not all intended acreage will be planted this year.

This was reflected in the spot market index for dry edible beans in the United States, which was up 25 points on the week at 1286.

Meanwhile, the index for grower bids was unchanged at 1096.
