Edible Beans Steady
VANCOUVER - Jun 10/11 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets finished the week little changed, with offers from exporters closely matching emerging buying interest.
This was reflected in the spot market index for dry edible beans in the United States, which was unchanged on the week at 1261. Meanwhile, the index for grower bids was unchanged at 1096.
Seeding of the North American bean crop continued at a slow pace, starting the week at just 28% complete in North Dakota, down from 83% last year and the recent average of 81% complete by the start of June.
