Bean Undertone Improves

VANCOUVER - Jun 4/11 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets finished the week's trading on a firmer note, as harvest selling pressure in Argentina is relieved and Chinese exporters become more cautious over pricing.

This was reflected in the spot market index for dry edible beans in the United States, which was gained seven points on the week to finish at 1261.

Meanwhile, the index for grower bids was unchanged at 1096.
