Bullish Finish For Edible Beans
VANCOUVER - Feb 18/11 - SNS -- North American dry edible bean markets finished the week's trading on a bullish note, with prices more most major classes posting solid gains on the week.
The underlying firmness of markets was reflected in the spot market index from dry edible beans in the United States, which rose 75 points on the week to finish at 1138.
Improved inter-dealer markets were reflected in growers bids in the United States, with the index for grower bids gaining 34 points to finish at 1018.
