France's Field Pea Exports Start With Easy Note
PANAMA - Mar 18/24 - SNS -- France's movement of field peas in January shrank compared to the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.
Shipments for the first month of the calendar year totalled 5,985 metric tons (MT), down 84% from 36,286 MT the previous month. The data showed exports is down 51% from the 12,316 MT recorded for the same month last year.
The most recent movement data showed China was most important buyer, taking 3,883 MT. Switzerland was the second most important importer buying 1,796 MT, followed by United Kingdom at 174 MT.
