Beans Worry About Plantings

PANAMA - Apr 1/22 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets posted a mixed ending as participants access the impact of the planned reduction in seeded area in the United States.

Ideas competition for land use could see farmers in that country plant less beans was borne out by the USDA seeding intentions report, which suggest total area could decline from 1.458 to 1.369 million acres.

If yields are at their recent five year average, production of all classes of beans could advance from 1.069 to 1.132 million metric tons (MT).
