Beans Continued to Find Support

PANAMA - May 28/21 - SNS -- North American dry edible bean markets continue to be influenced by good ongoing demand from Latin American destinations and worries about prospective growing conditions in states like North Dakota and parts of Nebraska and Colorado.

As a result, the dry edible bean price index for the United States advanced 1.2 points on the week to finish at 98.5, for its sixth week over week advance.

At the same time, the global pulse price index rose 0.5 points to close at 93 while the Canadian index eased 0.1 points to finish at 94.6 points.
