Spain's Field Pea Imports Post Soft Performance
PANAMA - May 16/19 - SNS -- Spain's imports of field peas in March fell versus the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.
Total imports in the month amounted to 7,409 metric tons (MT), down 35% from the previous month's total of 11,314. So far imports have amounted to 21,319 MT, up from 15,825 during the last calendar year.
The most important exporter during the month was Kazakhstan, shipping 7,094 MT. France was the second most important exporter selling 232 MT, followed by United States at 46 MT.
