Weaker Tone in World Pulses

PANAMA - Feb 19/17 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets finished the week's trading on a generally easier note.

This was reflected in the performance of the pulse price indexes. The U.S. spot index for beans, dropped 0.9 points on the week to finish at 147.1 points.

Other pulse markets ended the week on weaker note. The Canadian pulse price index dropped 0.8 points to finish at 203.6. By contrast, the world pulse price index gained 0.9 points to finish at 194.2.
