Holiday Trading in Dry Beans

PANAMA - Nov 29/15 - SNS -- North American dry edible bean markets were virtually unchanged against holiday shortened trading because of Thanksgiving Day in the United States.

Even so, the U.S. bean price index managed to post a minor week over week advance, as a minor advance in pinto bean prices offset modest declines in pea beans and some other classes.

As much as recent gains in white alubia beans have helped support the complex, concerns are starting to emerge over the situation in Argentina.
