Mixed Week in Beans
VANCOUVER - Aug 15/15 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets maintained a mixed tone through the past week, with exporters in Argentina and some in China remaining aggressive sellers.
Quality has become an issue again for Argentina's white alubia bean exporters because of weather during the growing season and harvest.
Though staining does not appear to be widespread, wrinkled is once again an issue, resulting in wide price spreads depending on the percentage of wrinkled beans.
