Beans Maintain Weak Undertone

VANCOUVER - Jun 27/15 - SNS -- The world's dry edible bean markets maintained their weaker tone through the past week, led lower by agressive pricing for white and colored beans by exporters in Argentina.

This was most obvious in large white beans, with both Argentina and Egypt lowering prices in an effort to find nuymbeers which work for European importers.

Traders in China appear to be resisting the downward trend in markets, while competing sellers in North America appear resigned to the fact prices will be lower on average for many classes than was the case last season.
