Little Movement in Dry Beans

VANCOUVER - Apr 10/15 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets were unusually quiet during the past week, with limited buying interest being shown in front of the harvests in Argentina and Egypt.

This was reflected in the spot price index for U.S. origin pulses, which gained just 0.03 points on the week to 151.01.

The world export price index for pulses also inched lower, gaining 0.4 points to finish the week at 175. Canada's special crop index inched up 0.1 points to finish the week at 182.6.
