Field Peas Hold Steady But Firm
VANCOUVER - Jan 25/15 - SNS -- Field pea markets were little changed during the past week, helped by efforts by exporters to do fill-in buying and meet pending vessels.
Grower deliveries into Canada's primary elevator system and movement to ports remains well ahead of this time last year.
As of January 18, farmers had delivered 1.66 million metric tons (MT) of fields peas or 48% of all peas grown last year.
