U.S.Durum Stocks Plunge 22%
WASHINGTON - Jan 12/15 - SNS -- Durum wheat stored in all positions on December 1, 2014 totaled 42.0 million bushels, down 22% from a year ago, according to the latest stocks in all positions report from the USDA.
On-farm stocks, at 22.0 million bushels, are down 33% from December 1, 2013. Off-farm stocks totaled 20.0 million bushels, down 6% from a year ago.
The September - November 2014 indicated disappearance of 15.8 million bushels is up 28% from the same period a year earlier.
