Grain Sorghum Inventory Slips
WASHINGTON - Jan 12/15 - SNS -- Grain sorghum stored in all positions on December 1, 2014 totaled 229 million bushels, down 1% from a year ago, according to the latest stocks in all positions report from the USDA.
On-farm stocks, at 30.5 million bushels, are down 7% from December 1 last year. Off-farm stocks, at 199 million bushels, are up slightly from a year earlier.
The September - November 2014 indicated disappearance from all positions is 238 million bushels, up 37% from the same period in 2013.
