U.S. Oat Stocks Jump 29%
WASHINGTON - Jan 12/15 - SNS -- Oats stored in all positions on December 1, 2014 totaled 62.2 million bushels, 29% above the stocks on December 1, 2013, according to the latest stocks in all positions report from the USDA.
Of the total stocks on hand, 31.3 million bushels are stored on farms, up 22% from a year ago. Off-farm stocks totaled 30.9 million bushels, up 38% from the previous year.
Indicated disappearance during September - November 2014 totaled 12.1 million bushels.
