Corn Inventory Rises 7%
WASHINGTON - Jan 12/15 - SNS -- Corn stored in all positions on December 1, 2014 totaled 11.2 billion bushels, up 7% from December 1, 2013, according to the latest stocks in all positions report from the USDA.
Of the total stocks, 7.09 billion bushels are stored on farms, up 11% from a year earlier. Off-farm stocks, at 4.12 billion bushels, are up 1% from a year ago.
The September - November 2014 indicated disappearance is 4.25 billion bushels, compared with 4.29 billion bushels during the same period last year.
