Widening Bearish Sentiment in Beans
VANCOUVER - Aug 2/14 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets maintained their sideways motion through the past week despite an increase in bearish sentiment.
This is clearly reflected in North American markets, where the U.S. dry edible bean index finished the week unchanged at 164.75 points.
By contrast, the weighted average grower bid in the United States advanced from to U.S. $37.20 to $38.09 per 100 pounds (cwt) or from $820 to $839 per metric ton (MT).
