Sorghum Stocks Soar 88%
WASHINGTON - Mar 31/14 - SNS -- Grain sorghum stored in all positions on March 1, 2014 totaled 173 million bushels, up 88% from a year ago, according to the USDA's latest stocks in all positions estimates for the United States.
On-farm stocks, at 16.0 million bushels, are up 47% from last March. Off-farm stocks, at 157 million bushels, are up 94% from a year earlier.
The December 2013 - February 2014 indicated disappearance from all positions is 58.9 million bushels, up 22% from the same period last year.
