Logistical Problems Support Peas
VANCOUVER - Oct 19/13 - SNS -- Canadian field pea markets continue to be driven by logistical factors, which has resulted in some technical short covering.
Transportation has become a limited resource, with some companies complaining they are only getting six out of every 10 railcars ordered.
This has pushed shipping back two to four weeks for many companies, creating problems for exporters trying to load vessels with peas and other commodities.
