Little Change in Peas
VANCOUVER Oct 6/13 - SNS -- North American field pea markets were little changed in relatively light trade during the past week.
Markets were not surprised by the Statistics Canada production estimates, which proved to be nearly identical to estimates derived from provincial yield estimates.
Output is now expected to reach a record 3.781 million metric tons (MT), which gives Canada a record quantity of peas to market in 2013-14.
