United States Green Pea Grower Price Review
VANCOUVER - Sep 5/13 - STAT -- United States Green Pea markets finished the 2012-13 marketing year with prices offered to growers soaring 21% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Green Pea was USD$19.03 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $15.78 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $22.00 per cwt in May, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $16.00 per cwt in October.
