United States Grower Bean Index Review
VANCOUVER - Sep 5/13 - STAT -- The grower price index for dry edible beans grown in the United States at the close of the 2012-13 marketing year inching % below the recent three year average.
For the season just ended, the Bean Index was 1276 points, compared to an annual average of 1279 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly pattern reveals the highest monthly average index level was 1444 points in August, while the lowest monthly average level was 1216 points in November.
