Peas Ease on Good Harvest Progress
VANCOUVER - Aug 30/13 - SNS -- Field pea markets finished the week's trading with a weaker undertone against improved availability of new crop merchandise in North America.
Growers in Canada also showed an obvious willingness to sell product at current prices, contributing to lower average bid levels for both green and yellow peas.
Market sentiment was not helped by indications from Saskatchewan Agriculture that Canada could harvest a record field crop this year.
