Green Pea Dealer Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 2/13 - STAT -- Canadian Green Pea markets finished the 2012-13 marketing year with prices rocketing 35% above the recent three year average annual price on inter-dealer markets in that country.
The average trading level for Green Pea was USD$620.96 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual market value of $461.63 during the previous three year period for machine dressed merchandise packed in bulk on a delivered track Vancouver basis.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was $735.00 per MT in June, while the lowest monthly average trading level was $444.00 per MT in August.
