Feed Pea Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/13 - STAT -- Canadian Feed Pea markets finished the 2012-13 marketing year with prices offered to growers rocketing 29% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Feed Pea was CDN$289.07 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual bid of $224.87 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $330.69 per MT in February, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $183.72 per MT in September.
