Firm Tone Remains in Beans
VANCOUVER - Jul 20/13 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets maintained their firm tone in relatively light trade as markets continue to deal with a fundamental shortage of large caliber white beans.
This was reflected in the U.S. spot market index for dry edible beans, which finished the week up two points at 1546.
The grower index was also higher on the week, rising 12 points to finish at 1395.
